I mean, come on, who wouldn't be absolutely satisfied with such a lovely, cute, professional coproduction team?! I feel SO blessed that we have all these amazing people engaged to The Wild Boar! Now we have one year to work hard together and make a good film! I wish that feeling to everybody what we have now!

Also we have to say thank to the organizers of VAF, especially Marcela and Michal to make this meeting happen just by inviting us to the wonderful little city of Trebon in the magic Bohemian Region of Czech Land!!! Dekuji!!!

Visegrad Animation Forum - again!

...

If you are here with us from the beginning, you definitely remember my first post from last year, when I happily announced that our little Wild Boar was selected as one project to pitch at the Visegrad Animation Forum in the lovely little cute Czech town called Trebon. Well, I do remember, because that was my first proper pitch about The Wild Boar! I have to say, I've come a long way, so many things happened in these 12 months! The project developed a lot - and I developed a lot! There are two lovely producers who help my work! I have all the beautiful memories from the magical Sarajevo Talent Campus, the unforgettable Abbaye Fontevraud (where I left a piece of my heart for good...), the crazy Interfilm Script Pitch... and we've just won the Film Prize of Robert Bosh Stiftung! Behind these words there are lots of work, lots of travel, and lots of new friends!

Obviously, the hard work just starts now - but as a really nice offer, we got an invitation from the Visegrad Animation Forum, to go there and share our story about the way of The Wild Boar, and show an opportunity for the creative people who have ideas, but they don't have any ideas how to get started! We took this kind possibility to meet each other, and other professionals from Europe, discuss our ideas, watch films and eat fresh fish in one of the cute little restaurants of Trebon!

So if you'll be around, do not hesitate to come and say hello, have a glass of wine and have a nice chat! Do not forget, that there's also the Anifilm Festival in Trebon that time, with outstanding films, and many many special programs like lectures, parties, shooting and outdoor screenings!

FILM PRIZE!!!!!!!!

Our little team proudly presents that yesterday the lovely Mait Laas announced on the stage of the Award Ceremony of the Go East Festival that the Coproduction Film Prize of the Robert Bosch Stiftung in the animation category goes to The Wild Boar!!!!!

We can't tell you guys how happy we are!!! We put a hell of a lot effort and we've came a long way... and it's just the beginning!!!

Film Prize of the Robert Bosch Stiftung, Nominee Forum, Berlin

Who's back from Berlin? After some very intense days of The Nominee Forum?

Well, me.

As one of the nominees for the Film Prize, I got invited to Berlin to spend there couple of days and taking part of the Nominee Forum. I have to say, that it was super-intensive and super-useful! We got lots of comments and feedbacks on our stuff - now it's time to work on the final folder!

And Berlin always amazes me - being around the Fernsehturm makes me feel good... especially when there are bunnies involved! Yes, yes, Berlin is the city where you see bunnies, foxes, ducks and swans when you walk home in the middle of the snowy night...

What else a natural-born-wild boar can wish?

Maybe a hat? Oh yes, look at my new wild boar hat - I got it from my german producer!!! Isn't it crazy? It is cool! Fits to my collection!!!

About the Script Pitch

...

Okay, so I've been to Berlin, spent a couple of days with Lissi, and did lots of things: had a meeting with the editor, had a meeting with the composer, had workshops, had parties, went to a band rehearsal, travelled in the coolest VW Transporter of the world in the sunshine in the morning, listened to freestyle German rap in the kitchen, experienced a secret underground theater-pub, played with a balloon in the middle of the party and used my pocket as an ashtray (by accident of course).

Amongst all these things unfortunately the winning wasn't there - but the experience is the most important and precious thing for me at the moment because each and every member of our little team turns their head to a higher level and a bigger aim at the moment.

I WILL TELL YOU ABOUT IT A BIT LATER!

Interfilm Festival Script Pitch 2013

Ok, so as I promised, there are some good news: The Wild Boar was selected for the Script Pitch 2013 at the Interfilm Festival, Berlin.

Look! They misspelled my long and difficult family name!

So tomorrow I will get on a plane, fly to Berlin, then do my best to tell the story of The Wild Boar in 3 minutes, without screening, without pictures, without anything... I will have only a mic and the stage!

Just like a stand up comedist!

Definitely it will be a good opportunity to increase my pitching skills!

Soon I'll be back with some pictures filled with Berlin air and - beers...
