Ok, The Wild Boar is in a late (but only with the blog, only with the blog!) - please forgive me, but there are so many things going on at the moment!
Definitely it's a really exciting period of the making of the film :)
So, what happened?
Approximately one year ago I applied for a residency in the beautiful and amazing place of Abbaye de Fontevraud - and this year at springtime I got a mail, that I was selected for the 1 month residency!
I was totally honored - there were more than 100 applications, and they only took 10 people out of that 100 - and 1 was my little Wild Boar, and me!
So I arrived on the first day of October, and I spend the whole month here, working on the animatic of The Wild Boar. I have to say that this place is a perfect place for work - it's beautiful, calm, and as much isolated as it should be. It's unbelievable to work and live in a building which is more than 900 years old, and where Richard I. the Lionheart's body was buried!
I tell myself each and every day how blessed I am to be here.
Also the 8 artists who I spend this month here (yes, you read it right - unfortunately the croatian guy, Velko wasn't able to come) are really inspiring people with outstanding works!
